Laolu
Being a versatile DJ and producer, Laolu is one of the rising forces of the electronic scene. Laolu's successful collaborations with Mr Raoul K and support from Dixon and Black Coffee helped him stand out with his exclusive sound. His remix of Dele Sosimi's 'Too Much Information' is a number-one hit and a top favourite of Dixon and Âme. Since his childhood, he has been a part of a musical environment. His parents owned a club dedicated to Jazz and Soul. Moving to France, he learnt saxophone and music theory. After discovering Detroit techno pioneers Derrick May and Carl Craig, he shifted to playing drums. Then he became a DJ, and in 2010, Laolu released his first EP, "O Fantasma," on the Clap Your Hands label. He even produced music for labels - Innervisions, Freude Am Tanzen, Mental Groove, Fenou, Baobab Music and more. His raw and sophisticated style enables him to swing the audience's moods and match any club's ambience.
